Meet the FounderMike Sanders
Owner

Mike Sanders, 50, is the owner of New Orleans-based Consolidated Financial Group, a financial services firm specializing in retirement solutions. With four offices, one located in Metro Atlanta, Mike has built a successful investment firm during the past 24 years. After earning a Bachelor Science degree in Biology from Furman University, Mike began his career with success in a sales position with Pfizer Corporation, as well as three years of military service.

Mike and his wife, Kevin, have been married for 28 years and have three children. It is hard to believe that just over three years ago Mike’s career and personal life were jeopardized by his long-time addiction to alcohol and his more recent addictions to OxyContin, which he began taking for back pain, and Xanax, which he was taking for anxiety.

At the suggestion of his wife, he sought treatment in January 2005 and happened upon an alternative to the typical “white knuckle” detox that many dread, and few complete successfully. He underwent treatment at Equipoise Clinic in Slidell, La. The clinic utilized a unique treatment that administered an IV of amino acids tailored specifically for Mike’s particular addictions and medical make-up.

Despite the fact that he drank and took OxyContin up until a few hours before beginning the treatment, he completed the 10-day outpatient procedure and began feeling the positive results even before the 10th day. In fact, he lost his craving for drugs and alcohol almost immediately, and the withdrawal was only akin to a very mild case of the flu.

His clarity of mind improved tremendously and his physical health returned steadily with the assistance of a monthly booster at the clinic. He was amazed at how quickly and effectively this little-known treatment method worked, and he was motivated to share it with others. As a successful business owner and leader in the community, Mike also understood the unique needs of business professionals and their desire to avoid the sometimes negative repercussions associated with more traditional treatments.

Hurricane Katrina and almost a year of sobriety brought Mike the opportunity to temporarily relocate to his hometown of Atlanta and open a recovery center, in order to deliver to other business executives the same results that he achieved. In November 2005, he established New Life Treatment, LLC, and set out to open his first ExecuCare Addiction Recovery Center™ to help executives overcome their alcohol and drug addictions.

Mike and his wife are personally financing ExecuCare ARC in Atlanta and Slidell and hope to open more clinics in the future.

Kevin Sanders
Owner

Kevin Sanders completed two years at Furman University, before earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from the University of Washington. She has served as Mike’s right-hand woman for more than 23 years as owner and vice president of Consolidated Financial Group. Kevin, a native New Orleanian, has also been a Realtor with a family company for more than 12 years. Albeit an accomplished business woman, Kevin considers her true successes come from being a devoted mother to Michael, Elizabeth and Arthur, and a loving wife to Mike. She believes in the strength and power of family, and its ability to overcome obstacles together.

She was first drawn to the amino acid recovery method because of its wellness and all natural approach. With Mike and her owning a company, she also liked the short duration of the 10-day, outpatient program. Almost immediately, she recognized the benefits of the treatment. Mike seemed to have a renewed sense of energy and clarity of mind. With the combination of the Neurotransmitter Restoration (NTR) treatment and Mike’s perseverance, she witnessed a dramatic recovery within days. She looks forward to ExecuCare ARC bringing the same hope and healing to other families as it has brought to hers.
